I wasn't sure; Amy seems to be using a non-Blogger OpenID (because it lacks the Blogspot ID but it could be Blogger! Who knows!). I am just curious, because the OpenID name is basically a free DW account that lacks posting abilities. If they log in with OpenID, confirm their email address and such, yeah. It's a free account minus posting.
I just don't want people to think DW accounts are required for talking to you. ;)
I tested Blogger OpenID because you said you were having problems, but it still works just fine for me? I am not sure what I did differently. I used my whole URL: http://bottleofshine.blogspot.com/ and I had to go "yes, always trust dreamwidth.org".
The only thing that's required, it seems like, is that you be logged into the Blogger account with the blog you're using as your ID (say, if you have multiple accounts like me) and use your full URL (with the http:// part). It worked just fine for me under those conditions. I want to figure out what the problem you're having is, because I honestly have never had Blogger give me any trouble with OpenID. :(
