Question Time - Films

Some films I have seen recently, that I thought were interesting, but haven't said anything about yet:

'Corialanus'
'Ides of March'
'Martha Marcy May Marlene'
'Moneyball'
'Mirror Mirror'
'Lawless'
'Hugo'
'Breaking Dawn - Part Two'

I would love it if you asked me questions about anything you wanted to know about my reaction to any of these films. Then I could answer those questions right here on the blog and we could chat about films :D Ana has done posts like that for books she had yet to review, in the past and I've always found them so interesting to read that I thought I'd borrow the idea.

PS. I really need a good general purpose icon for posts that talk about films and TV. Any suggestions?

So, Mirror Mirror. Is this the new wave of fairy tale parody? Not mocking the story itself, but injecting humor—and modern humor, which can either go well or date immediately—into the story so that the "sillier" elements mesh better with the darker elements? How did you like the costume design? Quick, Snow White death match: Lily Collins or Ginnifer Goodwin? How great was Julia Roberts, honestly?

Ugh I suck at questions but I did really love two of these movies so..

Moneyball--what say you? Should Sorkin stick to film? What do you think about the way it changed baseball? Was Brad Pitt perfect in that role or what? overhyped or the best baseball movie of recent times?

And I just want to hear ALL YOUR THOUGHTS on MMMM. I really liked that movie, but of course I want to know how you felt about the ending. And what it made you think about cults and their influence and power and relationship and healing from experiences like that which somehow touch on and also exploit a person's deepest needs.

What did you think about the "it was all a dream" battle in Breaking Dawn Part II? The group of now-nineteen-year-olds I've seen all the movies with thought it was the best part "imagine if they'd really killed off that many of the main characters!"
